Project SP Patch Notes V 0.0.1.14

Please note that this is an early prototype build, so things may not work as intended and will be changed in later updates.

General Changes/Fixes:

  • Fix issue where kills per second wouldn't calculate correctly.
  • Fix issue with enemy spawner crashing the game if a set point value wasn't met.
  • Made it so the code for the combo multiplier runs smoother.
  • The point score increases faster to match the current score of the player when it isn't close to it.
  • Fix issue where the random button, in the level select menu, would take you to one of the gauntlet stages.
  • Change the way the combo timer works. Now whenever the player damages an enemy the combo bar timer will slightly increase, making it easier to keep combos.
    • Also minor fixes to the code.

Player Changes:

  • Change to the bullet and melee script due to the enemy health changes.
  • Small fixes to player health script.
    • Removed redundant code from health manager script .
  • Fixed issue with bullets shooting backwards when moving backwards.
  • Made alterations to players' gun script.
  • Fixed issue where score value was spelt wrong.
  • Small fixes to the player dash script.

Menu Changes/Fixes:

  • Minor change to tutorial menu.
  • Font size change in the tutorial menu on the buttons.

Enemy Change/Fixes:

  • Changed the function of how the enemy health works. Now all enemies use the same health manager.
  • The boss health bar is attached to players and no longer on the boss themselves.
  • Changed how enemy and environment damage is given to the player.

Stage Change/Fixes:

General:

  • Made alterations to gates that use tags to open.
  • Altered how the gauntlet gate works.
    • Now the number of enemies left now attached to the player instead of the gates themselves.
  • Removed gate open SFX.

Battleplex:

  • Boss spawner has been disabled for the time being due to the boss not taking damage correctly.
  • Added collision to the doorways.

Sewers:

  • Moved one of the barriers that was clipping through the wall.
