Hey everyone, I am here to keep you up to date with upcoming changes and features coming to the game in the future.
Colosseum stage changes
So the environment of the level has been completely changed from what it looked like in devlog #10 and its current appearance. Although it is still missing some assets in the environment and some are missing details, these will be updated overtime.
A new mechanic of the stage is when the boss appears the center of the stage opens up a pit, making the level have more of a challenge to navigate around and giving the player less room to move around. When the boss has been beaten, then the stage will revert back to the way it was originally.
The enemy spawn points have been moved to be level with the stage and no longer slightly above it. The spawn gate has had a new set of animations added.
There are plans to change the rain. As of now the splashes aren't touching the ground and are somewhat floating off it. So I am trying to make it so it stops doing that and looks more natural in the environment.
As I said in the last devlog, the Colosseum was going to get a name change. When the new version of the level is added it will now be called the Battleplex.
Start screen changes
There are plans to make the start screen look more appealing.
At the moment there is only this concept art. The player character will, when it has a design, will be sitting in some sort of transport pod. Obviously this is subject to change and hasn't been finalised yet.

There isn't a whole lot on there at this time but I plan to put some updates on there from time to time.
Enemies
From next year I plan to work on the enemies, getting them in the game with finalised designs. Despite having a couple of bosses and enemies working, they have yet to be added as of yet, mostly due to reworking the levels.
So a quick summary of everything in this Devlog. Changes to the Colosseum stage, start screen changes, bluesky account, working on enemies.
Any other change will be added to the patch notes when the next update is released.
