Hey everyone, I am here to keep you up to date with upcoming changes and features coming to the game in the future.

Stomp Changes

Changes have been made to how the stomp now functions within the game.

First change is to the activation of the stomp, currently you can use the stomp at any point as long as you have jumped. Now you can only activate it after you have double jumped, this was mostly done to stop spamming of the stomp action when you got some minor air time.

The second change was to the movement speed. Despite the increased gravity when falling, you could still move on the X and Z axis at the player's normal movement speed. Although I want the game to feel somewhat arcadey, I decided to limit the movement speed, making the player move slower while stomping, then return to normal after touching the ground.

And the final change is there’s now a slight build up before you come crashing to the ground, as the original method was quite snappy when you activated it. 

Hopefully these changes will introduce a new risk rewards system to the movement, using it at the right time to avoid taking damage or using it to make short cuts within the gauntlet stage.

Final Gauntlet Redesign

I’m part way through completing the last gauntlet stage, once this one is completed, then all will accommodate the movement better than what it was prior. Besides updating the environment and fixing any minor issues within the level themselves, I should be able to focus on other aspects of the game. I don’t have any videos/images to show at this time, of the final stage, but when I do, I'll share them online with you.
